There are Specific Components that need to stay as up-to-date as possible for a fully featured web experience.  Below is a list of Components that we need to regularly update in our lab environment.  If you follow these steps to update your own computers regularly, you will have all the essentials for a great web and desktop experience.

Update Flash:

Flash for IE

Flash for Mozilla/Safari

Flash Version Check (to verify currently installed version)

Update Adobe Shockwave

Update Adobe Air

Update Java

Update Windows (Manual Directions) or Auto Update Windows and Restart (Save all work before running .bat file!!!)

Update Firefox or Install (if not already installed)

Update Google Chrome or Install (if not already installed)

Install Internet Explorer 9 (if not already installed)

Install Video Codecs (if not already installed, Download and install the Mega Codec Pack, using default install options)
